01Our Story
A machine shop that outlasted the trends.
Gemco opened its doors in 1967 and has spent the decades since doing one thing well: turning and milling precision components for customers who can't afford a part that's almost right.
Based in Wylie, Texas, the shop grew up alongside the oil & gas industry it still serves, then broadened into aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, and general industrial work as the machines and the people got better at harder parts.
Today Gemco is part of the Maximum Precision Group, a family of American precision manufacturers. The same shop you've always worked with now stands behind a wider set of capabilities and certifications.
What hasn't changed is the standard. The operating philosophy is the same one it started with: relentlessly pursuing perfection.
